Demerdzhi mountain and cave towns of Crimea.
For this mountain bike tour I can take 1 or 2 persons only (maximum room is for 3 bikes in my car). By default program planed to start from Yalta and then I return you to Yalta. All your luggage you can leave in my car. Each day we bike around 35-40 km. (appr. 24 miles). Each trek is a kind of loop, we start from a car and comeback to a car, but we always use a new road, that's we never go along the same path. For a night we stay in a small village in a house (room for 2) with home-made food from our hosts.
Short description of tour:
Accommodation: we spend a night in a small village in house of inhabitants. Room for 2 with attached bathroom.
Food: Home made dinner and breakfast. Sandwiches for lunch.
What to see: Demerdzhi mountain, cave town Eski-Kermen, slopes of cave town Mangup-Kale, one of cave monasteries, mountain lake, life of ordinary people and traditions of Ukrainian hospitality.
Day 1. Demerdzhi mountain:
We start a tour from Angarsky pass (highest point of the highway Simferopol - Yalta (752 m. above sea level). Then we will bike along the slopes of Northern and Southern Demerdzhi and finish a day at the bottom of Valley of Ghosts (wind erosion in sandstones, reminding creatures from fairy-tales). For a night we will stay in one of small villages in the area of cave towns of Crimea.
Time: on bike is 6 hours. Distance is 35 km. Vertical ascent 600 m. Descent 860 m.
Day 2: Cave towns and monasteries of Crimea:
This day we will bike in the area of cave towns of Crimea. We will start from a mountain lake, situated not far from Mangup-Kale cave town. On the way we pass one of cave monasteries, situated in the mountains. We will visit Eski-Kermen cave town and finally after a full loop finish a tour again near lake.
Time: on bike is 6,5 hours. Distance is 40 km. Vertical ascent/descent 600 m.

Price: 330 Euros total for 2 persons.
Price all included: accommodation (room for 2), 3-times meals, all entrance fees, my guiding, appropriate car and front-suspension cross-country mountain bikes.
